ORIGINS |
In 1989, concerned Mirror Lake
residents and Wright devotees formed
a non-profit organization to save
and restore the Seth Peterson
Cottage as Wright envisioned it, and
to give it a new and useful life.
The award-winning three-year
$300,000 restoration project was
completed in 1992. The mission of
the Seth Peterson Cottage
Conservancy is to continue
preservation efforts as well as
provide wide opportunities to
experience the unique architectural
concepts of Frank Lloyd Wright in
this intimate setting.
